We are currently seeking a full-time Receptionist within our busy Reception Hub based in Justin Gardner House at Hellesdon Hospital. The Unit comprises of a PICU (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit) 10 bedded mixed gender ward and a Blended MSU/LSU Secure Service, which is 16 beds, with Women only.
The position is substantive, 37.5 hours per week, in the Reception area of the Unit, with working hours between 06:45hrs and 21:15hrs, 7 days a week.
Main duties of the job
You will be the first point of contact within the Unit and will be expected to demonstrate effective team work skills. The role will include call handling, greeting visitors, scanning documents and other administrative office duties including reception work.
You are also required to complete day to day operational tasks such as alarm testing, issuing badges, logging maintenance work.
You will be required to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook will be desirable. Knowledge of the Trust system Lorenzo would be an advantage.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
