B2B Account Lead Job at Vital Health Foods – Western Cape

To manage and expand the relationships with select Key Account customers in support of the B2B strategy in order to achieve sales objectives and targets.


  • Develop and manage the implementation of the allocated Key Account customer strategies in line with the B2B strategy
  • Implement a sales plan to achieve sales objectives and targets
  • Prepare call reports and track action steps
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of individual account performances and implement corrective strategies
  • Manage new listings and discontinuations
  • Manage third party logistics with selected customers
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly sales updates according to agreed deadlines
  • Manage new product development projects (inclusive of formulation, packaging development & costing)
  • Conceptualize new product in line with customers brief
  • Take new proposals through the B2B project screening gate Process
  • Adhere to project milestones and deadlines and keep stakeholders informed
  • Account administration
  • Manage inventory per SKU and returns for key accounts and minimize waste (demand planning)
  • Manage the delivery of stock from the distribution centre to Key Accounts by working closely with supply chain.

Grade 12

Degree/Diploma in Business related field is desired

2-3 years Sales Operations or Key Account experience

Contract manufacturing experience would be advantageous

Excellent customer relationship management

High-level commercial awareness

Above average problem solving and attention to detail skills

Excellent analytical, communication, and management skills.
