Administration Officer (AoNZ) Job in Australia at Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) –

This position provides:

  • Administrative support for the work of the two part-time Surgical Advisors (Aotearoa NZ) with documentation and meeting arrangements.
  • Administrative support for the Aotearoa NZ Manager with documentation, agendas and meeting arrangements.
  • Assistance for the Executive Officer Specialist International Medical Graduates with vocational registration documentation.
  • Cover for the AoNZ Office Coordinator role, as required

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will have completed a certificate or diploma in business/ office administration / office accounts, or have previous experience working in a similar role(s). Important skills and attributes are:

  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate confidently and clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound self-management and organisational skills with proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Self motivation and willingness to take on a range of tasks.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office suite and an understanding of working with database systems.
